3/25/2022 - Tom purchased a large sofa-recliner set for his living room a couple of months ago. The switch panel for the right chair was damaged and wouldn't work. The switches were small metal pieces that form a touch-sensitive circuit. I built a box via 3D printing with switches in it as a replacement.</description>

Tom brought me Linda's Toshiba Satellite L675, with a black screen. I turned it on, and with a flashlight, could see that the image was there, it's just that the backlight wasn't working. Tried this:

It worked! It involved taking apart the upper portion to get behind the display, and I peeled back the tape holding the main ribbon connector in the back, then pushing it away a bit, then closing it back up. Now it works!</description>
