Purchased 2/2/2017 for $1950, from a guy in Bonney Lake. It has about 263K miles. The minivan used to be a Cabulance, so it was well maintained.

I transferred the title today 2/3/2017 with no problem, even though I had an Affidavit for lost title instead of the actual title.

I noticed one thing wrong though. The Driver window would not roll down.

Looked on line and found this video which was exactly the procedure to disassemble the driver door:

I disassembled the switches, and they seemed to be working OK. Tested the power window motor, and although it had some variable resistance, applying voltage did not make it move.

Disassembled the motor, and saw that the brushes were almost completely worn out and covered with sooty grease. So was the commutator. I cleaned out some grease, scraped off the brushes and commutator, and the motor runs now. Reassembled it. It works, sort of.

The motor stopped running after going to Burger King, window stuck down. Need to order a replacement motor. 6/28/2017

There seems to be an electrical problem such that the relay for the Accessories keeps clicking. The power to the power windows kept going on and off. Perhaps it's just low voltage.

But for now, the van is functional.

The previous owner pointed out that the driver door lock knob had disappeared. I found it, and screwed on a plastic vacuum fitting as a suitable substitute.

2/3/2017.

Because the engine kept overheating, and it takes forever for heat to come inside, I replaced the thermostat. Didn't seem to help.

[Summer, 2020]

Because the van keeps overheating, replaced the water pump about a month ago. It makes a tiny improvement, but doesn't seem to be the problem.

There is a hiss after running the van. Having a hard time finding where this is coming from. I may replace the radiator anyway.
