FreeCad

Object Tree

  • Contains all of the parts of your model
  • Contains a history of how they were made
  • Can group objects by clicking top-level object, select Create Group… a folder appears

Work Benches

  • Draft - Makes draft objects(?)
  • Part Design - Builds parts from parametric sketches. A “Main” work bench, offering great control, constraint-based
  • Part - Making CAD parts. An older work bench, has primitives like cube and cone.
