Maytag Washer

Washer started failing to spin and drain. Solved problem by adding a bunjee cord to increase the belt tension. There is a spring there as shown in this picture, but it wasn't strong enough. Maybe cleaning the motor “skids” could help - friction is interfering with tensioning effect. 9/16/2019.
