====== Gateway Church 2003 Ford Winstar Van Right Slider Window Replacement ======

Somebody broke the passenger slide sliding door window glass. 

Was able to purchase replacement glass via Amazon from National Auto Glass. However, the glass did not come with a rubber "trim" piece which was glued to the old glass, and the piece is in turn bolted to the door frame. When we removed the remainder of the old glass, I tried to retain the pieces, but somehow it got lost.

Called Titus Will Ford 9/16/2023. He says the rubber piece is obsolete and it cannot be obtained by him.

Was able to find a replacement window at Budget Truck Wrecking, in Auburn, recommended by Binford Auto Wrecking.

They had a 2002 Winstar. Was able to use a skinny knife to separate the window's plastic trim piece from the door frame. Got it home, removed the old black gooey calking and strip. Bought 1/4 wide neoprene weather stripping and placed it in the trim. At the church, bolted the new window in. Asked them to monitor any water leaks. None identified at this writing.
