 Purchased a new pump from Home Depot, 1.5 HP. This one is rated at 10 GPM, versus the approximately 20 GPM from the previous one. The original pump that was in place when Rick bought the house was also 10 GPM. This might have made it more durable.

 Ben, Robert and I did the installation. It went quite fast, perhaps 2.5 hours. Worked correctly immediately.

+The pump wouldn't run. Checked voltage at the pressure switch and noticed that the voltage wasn't going through the switch. Wiggled the contacts with a screw driver, turned on power, and the pump started running.
+Replaced pump with a 40/60 PSI version from Home Depot (for about $27).
+Water restored [7/13/2023]
